Information Architecture Tips

Connecting with your customers and understanding their needs is the primary function of your Web site.  This begs the question “Who are your customers?  Think of five distinctly different types of customers.  For each customer type, write a description of the user with a list of reasons they would be coming to your site.  Then, for each reason, generate a list of things you could provide that would give them what they want.  Understanding your customers is key to developing a successful Web site.
